Islam, through its upright legislation, did not come to suppress or kill the man’s desire and instinct with which Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, created him. Rather, it came to direct it and guide it along the correct direction and proper path, in accordance with the law revealed by Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He, and in a manner pleasing to His Majesty.
